Seafarers issues of Covid Vaccination, Crew change discussed

 

Shri Abdulgani Y. Serang, General Secretary-cum-Treasurer and Shri Milind Kandalgaonkar, Assistant General Secretary met Shri Shripad Naik, Hon’ble Minister of State for Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Tourism in New Delhi.

 

Many seafarer issues regarding increase of employment, SID, opening of institutes and particularly seafarers vaccination after 28 days on the production of CDC only and crew change were discussed. On the advice of Hon’ble Minister, NUSI has sent representation in the interest of the seafarers and their families.
