Delegation led by Directorate General of Shipping, Dr. Malini Shankar met Hon. Shri Nitin Gadkari, Cabinet Minister for Road Transport, Highways and Shipping on 3rd April in New Delhi on the eve of the National Maritime Day Celebrations. NUSI and MUI presented Shri Gadkari with plaque in appreciation for giving Income Tax relief to our seafarers. Shri Gadkari also appreciated NUSI efforts of USR (Union Social Responsibility) of distributing cloth bags amongst seafarers for shopping to avoid plastics bags.
